Dr. Katherine pollard

Katherine Pollard, AuD is well know and respected in the audiology community for treatment of those with tinnitus. She moved to Atlanta in 1999 to work in the Emory Tinnitus and Hyperacusis Center with Drs. Pawel and Margaret Jastreboff, pioneers in the treatment of tinnitus, hyperacusis and misophonia.

Dr. Pollard has lectured around the Southeast on tinnitus, hyperacousis and misophonia, and continues to specialize in treating these conditions.

 

Dr. Pollard has practiced audiology in a variety of settings throughout her career, including in private practice, ear, nose and throat offices, and with veterans.

Katherine J. Pollard received her Bachelor of Science from Auburn University in 1993 and her Master of Science from the University of Montevallo in 1995. In 2003, she received her Doctor of Audiology from the Arizona School of Health Science. She was born in New York, lived in Iceland as a small child and eventually moved to Birmingham, AL, where she was reared.


Dr. Pollard is a founding member of the Georgia Academy of Audiology and served as its President, Convention Chair and Metro Area Representative. In 1997, she became a member of the American
Academy of Audiology and was a member of the State Leadership Committee. In 1996, she earned her CCCs from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. Currently living in Marietta,
Katherine is busy living the good life with her husband, 4 children and menagerie of pets.
