Hearing Aid Fitting, Adjustment, and Refitting
Proper hearing aid fitting is the difference between hearing aids that help and hearing aids that sit in a drawer. At ClearWorks Audiology in Sandy Springs, we use evidence-based practices for all hearing aid fittings and refittings, verifying that every device delivers the correct sound levels for your specific hearing profile. Our fitting process includes real ear measurements (REM), which confirm that the hearing aid output matches your prescription, speech understanding testing with and without hearing aids in both quiet and background noise, and hearing aid questionnaires that track how the devices are performing in everyday life.
ClearWorks includes a 30-day trial period for hearing aid purchases. During this time, we work together to ensure the devices are right for you. If in 30 days you would like to return your hearing aids, we will give you a refund.*
Evidence-based fitting, not guesswork
These steps are not used by every provider. They are the standard we hold ourselves to because the only fitting that matters is the one that actually works for you. If you have been fit elsewhere and your hearing aids are underperforming, it may be worth getting a second opinion.
Refitting existing hearing aids
If you already have hearing aids but are struggling to hear in certain situations, a refitting appointment may resolve the issue. Hearing changes over time, and a device programmed for your hearing two years ago may no longer match your current needs. We can reprogram existing devices, conduct updated testing, or help you evaluate whether a different technology, such as 100% Invisible Hearing Aid by Lyric or EarLens Hearing Aid, would serve you better.
