Your evaluation begins with a conversation about what led you here and what you are hoping to accomplish. From there, we conduct a series of non-invasive hearing tests. We measure how well you hear tones at different frequencies, how clearly you understand speech in quiet and in noise, and how your brain processes what your ears receive. Results are reviewed with you on the same day, in simple language so you walk away with a complete understanding and next steps.

If you frequently ask people to repeat themselves, struggle to follow conversations in restaurants or meetings, notice ringing or buzzing in your ears, or feel like you hear sound but cannot make out what is being said, those are good reasons to schedule. You do not need to wait until hearing loss is severe.

We review your results with you and discuss the most appropriate next steps. These may include monitoring your hearing, exploring hearing technology options, or additional evaluation of how your brain processes sound through our Brain & Hearing service.

You need your hearing aids to work. A refitting appointment through our Hearing Aid Fitting and Refitting service may identify why they are not working well. A fresh comprehensive hearing evaluation alongside the refitting gives us current data to start with.
